GIVING IT A TRY

I watched Jay Leno's 10pm show for about a week when it first started.

I watched Conan O'Brien's show for about 4 weeks when he first started at 11:30.

Both were incredibly horrible. But at least they tried.

Then the media made a massive stink about the "failure" of NBC, Jay, and Conan.

What are we teaching our kids?

How are we going to learn anything if we don't try anything new?

I'm going to try something completely new in March that I, (nor anybody in this radio market) has done before.

It could be a huge failure, or it could be another success. At the end of the day, at least I know I tried something new.

Playing it safe bores me.
